Volunteer for ROC Wheels
Thank you for supporting ROC Wheels by volunteering your time. We know your calendar is crowded and your time is precious. ROC could not help children without your assistance.
If you live in the Bozeman area we could use your help.
Local Projects include:
- Copying photos from a large stack of CD’s to our Google Drive. These photos go back many years and there’s thousands of photos. We have a laptop and CD drive for you to use. This project would need to be completed in our office in Four Corners and you could use the time to multi task by helping to polish 3D printed parts for the gait trainer (details below) listening to podcasts, audio books, reading, etc., while the photos are transferred.
- Yard Sale Organizing. We want to do some decluttering and would like to have a yard sale soon. If you are a yard sale fan and would like to help us organize the event, we’d love your help.
We continue to work on completing the development of the gait trainer.
Here is a list of tasks we could use your assistance with:
- Mig welding nuts on square tubing.
- Operating a milling machine to make barrel nuts.
- Sewing belts and padding using our industrial sewing machine.
- Cleaning up 3D printed parts to include polishing and cleaning the parts, and using a cordless drill to drill holes in the parts.
If any of this is something you, your family (including any teenagers) or friends are interested in helping us with for an hour or two (or more!), please let us know by replying to this email.
But I don’t live in the Gallatin Valley, but I want to help, what could I do?
If you live within a few hours of our workshop, why not may a day trip of it. Let us know if you and a group of your closest friends or a family group or church group is planning a trip and we will make sure you have a few projects to accomplish within your particular time frame.
I am not even within driving distance, what could I do to help ROC Wheels?
We need advocates in other communities to make people aware of the needs that so many disabled children in underserved regions face every day. Talk with your family, your network of friends, your church mission’s board or your employer and promote ROC Wheels and the life changing solutions the mobility devices make in the lives of these children.
I am on social media, could I use that to help get the word out?
ROC Wheels regularly posts content on several social media platforms. You could like those pages, hit the like and share button on every post, comment on the posts and invite others to do the same.
How could I support ROC Wheels financially?
There are several ways to support ROC Wheels out of the provision the Lord has blessed you with. You are now able to give using our online giving platform as well as PayPal, Bitcoin, Text-to-give, offer stock market shares, or simply send a check to the address below.
